Harvey Starkman Q.C.

Harvey graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1959.
He has over 40 years of civil litigation experience, with an emphasis on various aspects of commercial litigation.
Harvey practices before all levels of court including the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of Canada. Harvey has acted as counsel in many reported decisions, many of which also continue to be leading authorities in Ontario and Canada. In addition, Harvey has appeared before numerous administrative boards such as the Ontario Municipal Board, Land Compensation Board and various tribunals governing health practices in the Province of Ontario.
He has been a volunteer to the Legal Aid panel reviewing appeals to the Legal Aid Plan for over 30 years. Harvey’s tremendous knowledge and experience are also called upon in his role as general counsel to many of his clients and as a senior advisor to other members of the firm.
Harvey is married with two grown children and is an avid golf enthusiast.
