Oren Weinberg B.A. (Hons), M.A., LL.B.

Called to the Ontario bar in 2005

Oren graduated from York University in 1995 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree and went on to obtain his Masters from the University of Toronto in 1997. After taking some time to travel the world, including backpacking across Asia and Australia, Oren attended the University of Western Ontario and received his LL.B. in 2004 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2005.

After practicing with a Toronto firm and a senior civil and family law practitioner, Oren joined Basman Smith as a litigation associate in 2007 where he continues to practice in all areas of civil and family litigation, with an emphasis on family matters. Oren's practice includes appearing before all levels of court, mediation, arbitration, negotiating all forms of domestic contracts and assisting his clients in resolving their complex family law disputes related to property, access, custody, support and family businesses.

Oren has a passion for travel, is an avid water-skier and enjoys cycling, rock climbing and scuba diving.
