Audrey is a partner of the firm practicing exclusively in the area of family law. Audrey brings a high degree of professionalism and excellence to her practice and enjoys a reputation for outstanding client service, approachability and responsiveness. Audrey is also a highly skilled advocate regularly appearing before all levels of court in Ontario on behalf of her clients, as well as at mediations and arbitrations. Her clients appreciate her common sense and cost-effective approach in demystifying the legal process and resolving conflict.
Audrey received her LL.B. from Queen's University in 1998 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2000. In addition, Audrey holds B.A. and M.A. degrees in history, and a Master of Library Science (M.L.S.) degree.
Audrey joined Basman Smith in 2002 and became a partner in 2005. Audrey represents and assists parties with matters such as property division, parenting and access, child support, spousal support, cohabitation agreements and marriage contracts. She has specific expertise in the area of private adoptions.
Audrey is accredited in the practice of Collaborative Law and is a member of Collaborative Practice Toronto. She is a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, the Canadian Bar Association's Family Law Section and the Toronto Lawyers’ Association.
Audrey is married and is the proud mother of three children.
